About exactly fourteen days ago, Feelif organized the search for Easter eggs at the IRIS Center. Initially, we would like to thank all the participants and employees of the IRIS Center for such a positive energy and a lot of help with the preparation of the event itself.

Visitors to the event were able to test themselves in two innovative games. The participants also received wonderful prizes: T-shirt, chocolate bunny and a discount on the purchase of Feelif devices.

Because of their limitations, all people do not have the same access to information and entertainment. We tried to change this with this fun event. At Feelif, we try to incorporate blind and visually impaired people into everyday activities. For this reason, we also prepared the event Search for Easter Eggs for the Blind and Visually Impaired. We are also actively looking for ways to "upgrade" activities and games to enable blind and visually impaired participation in all events and activities. Our desire is to better integrate and improve the quality of life of blind and visually impaired people.

After many conversations, we prepared two very interesting and educational games:

We named the first game called "Hidden Egg"

The main gadget for this game was the Feelif Creator tablet, where blind and visually impaired can feel forms shapes, vibration, sounds, and voices. At the gym, we prepared a polygon with the help of teachers. When the children arrived we divided them into groups and presented the purpose and rules of the game. Using the new innovative technology, we have shown the obstacles and locations of the eggs. With a little help, the children quickly understood how the device works and they were ready for hunting. During the search for eggs, the children were very entertained. In the end, the fastest players moved into the finals and received interesting prizes.

We called the other game "The Beeping Egg"

On this beautiful sunny (but slightly windy) day, we went to the playground with the children and prepared a fun game for the children. It was interesting to see how much fun and joy this simple device can bring. We built the device by ourselves, and for this reason, we were even more glad about the positive response of children. With the audio signals, the egg communicated the locations, and so the child could easily find hidden eggs.

After the event, the children told us that they had a lot of fun and that they wanted more such events. The same goes for us. That's why we are actively preparing new ones.

In the future, we want more such events.

We want to create a better future where children with special needs and various disabilities will be even more involved in various activities and be even more connected with their peers. This way we will take care of the future of children with various disabilities.
